Description
The function of Maserati component number 264986. RH-head-cover-gasket is used to seal the cylinder head and valve cover on the engine’s right side (RH). This stops oil from flowing out of the engine and dirt and debris from entering.
The valve cover is a metal cover that lies atop the cylinder head. It covers the engine’s internal components, including the camshafts, valves, and rocker arms. The valve cover gasket is a thin rubber gasket located between the cylinder head and the valve cover. It forms a watertight seal, preventing oil from flowing out.
