Description
Lambda probes, or oxygen sensors, are available for the Bentley Continental GTC, Continental Flying Spur, and other vehicles under the component number 1K0998262N. Its function is to measure the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gas, which is why it is positioned in front of the catalytic converter (hence the ‘D’ in the part description). The engine control unit (ECU) uses this data to modify the fuel mixture to make it as effective and low-emissions as possible.
